Sorry for the disappearing act

As any entrepreneur or business owner can attest, the path of life is filled with blurry moments, and the three months since my surgery have been amongst the blurriest and most chaotic ever. I had every ambition to write frequently during my recovery, but work was already crazy before I went under the knife and everything just accelerated from there, and then poof! I disappeared without a trace. My numerous attempts to clone myself in the past had failed miserably and I can only divide myself in so many pieces, and therefore nice-to-have things such as keeping my blog up to date fell to the floor as I tended to putting out fires.
The irony of the current situation is not lost on me. Overwhelmed by the constant responsibilities of being an entrepreneur, I started 42clicks to examine the things that make me tick and to prepare for the next phases of life, and to hopefully slow down the train a little. And yet, life got seemingly more frantic in recent months and the side project I established to help me transition out of my current busy life got lost in shuffle of the same busy life. It’s pretty sad and comical when you think about it, and I’m not sure which of the two prevails.
Iām not even going to try to summarize the last three months at this point other than to say that everything is going really well and business is exceptional and I’m back to running and living a pseudo normal life, according to my wildly abnormal definition of normal. Other than being exceptionally busy and tired and dropping the ball on this project, I have no real complaints, so onwards I will forge and hopefully it won’t take me another 3 months to type a few more words.
