They say that you can tell a lot about a person by the music they listen to. So here’s a list of the top 3 concerts I attended in 2023.

#1 The War on Drugs – MTelus – Montreal

The War on Drugs had been playing large outdoor festivals all summer, but their Montreal stop was a full-length indoor show at MTelus. It was nothing short of spectacular.

#2 Lee Fields and the Expressions – Corona Theatre – Montreal

The legendary soul and funk singer made his Montreal debut. I’m suburban and the furthest thing from being a dancer, and my feet were sore after this one.

#3 Black Angels – Paradiso – Amsterdam

I absolutely love this psychedelic rock band from Austin, and what a treat it was to see them at the iconic Paradiso in Amsterdam while on a family trip to the Netherlands.
